Pingat Jasa Malaysia

Pingat Jasa Malaysia

The Malaysian government is awarding the Pingat Jasa Malaysia medal to all British Forces and Civil Servants who served between August 1957 to August 1966 in Malaya, Singapore and Malayan countries of North Borneo. Go to the National Malaya and Borneo Veterans Association (NMBVA) website for application form and contact details. Do not use Brasso or other abrasive cleaners on your medal. A light polish with Goddards Silver Cloth or silver wadding is advised.

=======================

Members are being contacted to buy some DVDs which are an extortionate price and the content of little interest. You are advised not to buy any film/DVD relating to the Far East Air Force, especially from ex-members.

Buy from the RAFSA Shop. A committee member compiles relevant subjects by cherry-picking interesting footage from the archive and produces DVDs for a price to cover expenses.

Membership fees: £10 UK & Europe; £12 Rest of the World. Membership Year: April 1st - March 31st
